A Christmas Project
In groups of four, you will create and deliver a 5-7 minute presentation on various Christmas traditions in English-speaking countries. This presentation will count as an interrogation.
Topics:
1. Christmas foods.
2. Christmas carols.
3. Christmas literature (A Christmas Carol, Twas the Night Before Christmas).
4. Christmas movies.
5. Christmas tree.
In your presentation, be sure to:
1. Describe what the tradition is. (Remember, when describing facts, we use the present simple).
2. Describe the origin of the tradition. (You may use the narrative tenses here - past simple, past continuous and past perfect).
3. Describe where we see this tradition today and how people interpret it.
4. Tell the class how you and your families interpret this tradition.
