6. How do you think the lack of oil will affect the global economy and what does this say about our dependence on oil?
7. What do you propose we do, as a global community, to prevent such a catastrophe from happening?
These are my answers:
ReplyDelete1) the prices grew because the lack of oil casuses the lack of agricolture products because they can't be transportated, it causes the lack of electricity because
coal, gas and other non-renewable can't be transportated.
The lack of oil causes the lack of all the products and goods that have to be transportated.
2) these catastrophe affects the market job because:
-all of the people that were working for things that involved oil have to find an other work because they are laid off by the companies because the thing, the oil,
that gived them work is finished
-nobody can go to work because there isn't any fuel for their cars and for the pubblic transports (buses, taxies, planes....) and all the other means of
transportation are used to move coal to the cities to provide a part but small of coal.
3) markets close because there is no more food or goods to sell and the few vegetables and fresh food is wasting away.
4) the lack of oil causes the stop of transportation:
-cars can't be used because there isn't any gasoline to use
-trains don't carry people but fuels because the states provide to the cities these goods to produce electricity
all the consequencies are:
- no fresh food in the markets
-nobody can leave their houses because they haven't got transportations
-nobody goes to work because they can't move without cars
5)the lack of oil affects the electrical power because the oil it's at the base of transportations and if it runs out the cities can't transport fuels and
produce electricity.
6) I think that the lack of oil will create the failure of economy because a lot of all-day goods are produced with oil, and all these goods must be transportated
but with the lack pf oil all these things will not happen. I think also that the lack of oil will cause a third world war because every single state will compete for the
remain oil.
7) I propose to find other ways to produce things like other materieals and to find other things to use for transports. But obviously these things can't happen
by degrees because we haven't got all the time that we need to do it.
1)The prices grow for many reasons, first because if there is lack of oil there is lack of acricultural goods because they can't be transported and they can't be refrigerated because the freezers run with oil or other fossil fuels, another cause of "sky-rocket" prices is the absence or lack of electricity because all the fuels can't be transported.
ReplyDelete2)The catastrophe affects the work market because all the people that have a work involved with oil will be without work because the thing (oil) that they work for is finished and even all the people that have a work involved in trasnportation or the normal people because they don't have the fuel for their cars.
3)The stock markets close because there is no more food and because all the fresh foods are going bad.
4)If there isn't oil, that is the main fuel for cars etc., they can't run so people can't move from their houses.
5)If there is lack of oil there is no elctricity because is the main fuels of the ways of transportation and because with oil we can produce elctricity so if there isn't fuel there is no electricity.
6)I think that our world will return to the Middle Age because no one can move from his village and the people have to become farmer if they want to survive. If we will continue to use petroleum at these speed we will return at the Middle Age very soon.
7)I propose to develop all the renewable energies and find other ways to make our transports run, it will be a slow project because it will be very hard to find something so versatile as the petroleum.
1.Why do prices "sky-rocket" when the oil runs out?
ReplyDeleteWhen oil runs out the prices go up because without oil life would be more difficult because oil is used in a lot of things also used by us every day, for example: electricity, clothes, transportation, food. In fact without oil the survival of person is not possible because without transportation we can’t have food in all of the supermarkets, without electricity during the night we can’t illuminate our streets or our houses.
2. How does the catastrophe affect the job market?
The catastrophe affects the job market because if the job in shops is conditioned by the presence of goods in the shop to sell them to the people without oil isn’t possible transportation and, for this reason food can’t arrive in the shops and retailers can’t work. The jobs that involved oil have to close because if there isn’t oil the people can’t work. The jobs that involved transportation can’t work because all the transportation: car, truck, bus, trains… work due to oil.
3. Why do stock markets close?
Stock markets close because they haven’t any goods to sell because without transport the manufacturer can’t provide the little shops
4. How does the lack of oil affect transportation, and what are the consequences?
The lack of oil affects transportation because without oil cars, busses, trucks and trains can’t be used and for this shops can’t be supplied of fresh food, people can’t move by their houses and for this reason they lost them works.
5. How does the lack of oil affect electrical power?
The lack of oil affect the electrical power because from oil we product the most part of the energy that we use and if we haven’t oil we can’t have the most part of electricity and in this way we can’t do a lot of things.
6. How do you think the lack of oil will affect the global economy and what does this say about our dependence on oil?
In my opinion the lack of oil affect the global economy because a lot of money are linked to turnover which includes oil and other fuels that are considered very important and the end of this fuel involves also less world economical movement. In my opinion the end of this fuel can generate a war between countries that have the last resources of oil and the countries that don’t have it.
7. What do you propose we do, as a global community, to prevent such a catastrophe from happening?
I think that we have to try to use less oil and non renewable energy and try to use renewable energy, in that way we can exploit for a much more long period non renewable energy, in that way we can postpone this catastrophe and in the meantime we can groped to find a solution.
1. Why do prices "sky-rocket" when the oil runs out?
ReplyDeleteWhen the oil runs out the prices are higher because people need oil in their life. Oil is used in all things that we do. If the oil isn't so much is obviously that it's difficult to serve in equal parts and so the productors have to select a part of population. in this case only the richer people can buy the petrol.
2. How does the catastophe affect the job market?
the catastophe affect the job market because sometimes states do pacts with other states for the exportation of petrol or for importation. this pacts are created for the petrol but after they can be also political. if the petrol finish probably this pacts are dissolved and so this affect the job market of some parts of the world
3. Why do stock markets close?
stocks markets close because the oil isn't so much and so there can't be some types of markets.
4. How does the lack of oil affect transportation, and what are the consequences?
the lack of oil affect transportation because without oil cars, trains, planes and all types of transportations can't move and so people can't travel and can't meet people, people became close to their houses and regress.
5. How does the lack of oil affect electrical power?
the lack of oil it's a big problem because it's at the base of the life of every single person, italso affects the transportatione and so if the things aren't travelled the main fuels can't be traded. so if we with oil produce elctricity but the oil can't be travelled there isn't fuel so there's not electricity.
6. How do you think the lack of oil will affect the global economy and what does this say about our dependence on oil?
The lack of oil affect the electrical power because from oil we product the most part of the energy that we use and if we haven’t oil we can’t have the most part of electricity and in this way we can’t do a lot of things.
7. What do you propose we do, as a global community, to prevent such a catastrophe from happening?
in my opinion people have to be careful. they have to use the fuels only if they can't replace with renewable energy. we have to start to think that renewable energy are the only way to mantain in the world the oil and all the types of fossil fuels.
THIS IS MY HOMEWORK. GOOD EVENING :)
2 because most of the work are given by the oil, in fact who first worked in the transport sector once that the fuel finishes is no longer able to do yours work, or those who worked in industries that use a lot of electricity as there is no fuel to produce electricity and so should change jobs.
ReplyDelete3 market close because there are no more goods to sell because all of these before they arrive at a store must brake on a trip but if the fuel finish the transport can no longer moves so you do not have new goods. In food stores also the missing electricity allows the faster decompose of the shop’s goods and therefore they can not be sold.
4 The lack of oil affects transportation because without fuel any transport (cars, busses, trucks, trains, planes…) can’t be used because they can’t move away.
5 the lack of oil effects energy because a lot of energy is produced by the combustion of fuels including oil soif there isn’t oil can no longer produce energy by burning fossil fuels
6 I think that most likely there will be a decline in the economy and a return of the society behind the days when you used fossil fuels. this will change quickly and dramatically the way we live also very likely there will be a series of wars also of civil for oil and fossil fuel remaining.
7I think to prevent this type of disaster we have to start using less fossil fuel and more energy from renewable sources by type in order to use the only non-renewable sources to meet the needs.
1. Why do prices "sky-rocket" when the oil runs out?
ReplyDeleteIf there isn’t so much oil, the small part that is accessible is needed by lots of people and to have it you have to pay a lot to overtake the others. It’s like to auction. Also the goods that are usually transported can’t be transported without oil.
2. How does the catastrophe affect the job market?
Without oil there aren’t transportations so lots of people haven’t the job. Also lots of jobs involved oil for its extraction or production and without oil they don’t have importance.
3. Why do stock markets close?
stock markets close because without oil the number of the stocks decrease and become zero.
4. How does the lack of oil affect transportation, and what are the consequences?
Without oil people can’t use trains, cars, planes or truks so they can’t have the food that arrived from other states. This because coal, energy and gas can be used to travel but the costs are bigger than using the oil.
5. How does the lack of oil affect electrical power?
Without oil we have to spend more money to have electricity because we can’t make it with the oil. We can use coal and gas, of course but this are going to finish and renewable energy cannot be produced in big parts.
6. How do you think the lack of oil will affect the global economy and what does this say about our dependence on oil?
In my opinion the global economy will decrease because lots of states, like states that are part of the OPEC, found their economy in the transportation and production of oil and some states consume it to create goods.
7. What do you propose we do, as a global community, to prevent such a catastrophe from happening?
We can prevent this catastrophe using less oil and searching new way to produce energy and to use transportations.
